Try it out now Phone Link was available from Windows 10 as a companion app to let users connect their phones to their PCs effortlessly. While it was only available for Android users back then, now iPhone users can sit back and relax. However, the feature is not yet out for general availability. That means, only a few select users from the Windows Insider program get early access to this feature. You can either join the program or wait for it to be rolled out worldwide, but we will still keep you updated once it’s out.  Without further ado, let’s try and jump in.

  1. Make sure you have opted into any of the 3 Insider Channels via Settings ➜ Windows Update ➜ Windows Insider Program.
  2. Make sure to have the latest Insider build installed. If not, click Windows Update ➜ Download & install.
  3. Open the Phone Link app. Click iPhone.
  4. Open your phone’s camera & scan the QR code shown.
  5. You’re in and connected! In the meantime, it’s still worth noting that being an insider-only feature that isn’t out for primetime yet, you may be running into some performance problems here and there, so, patience is a virtue.
